Introduction
The purpose of this Teaching Guide is to guide students of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication of the Faculty of Communication Sciences in their approach to the subject and the development, writing and presentation of the Final Degree Project (TFG). This document specifies the formal aspects of written, oral and practical execution of the TFG.
The TFG will be carried out under the guidance of a tutor, who will act as a catalyst and facilitator of the learning process.
It must be an original piece of work, not previously submitted by the student in other subjects or in other courses undertaken at any University. Its contents must be appropriate for the credits it is assigned in the study plan.
Pre-course requirements
There are no pre-requisites.
Objectives
The aim of the TFG for students to undertake a piece of research or a practical project, in which they have to use the knowledge acquired during the degree programme. Therefore, it must be oriented to the application of the general competencies acquired in the course of the Bachelor’s degree studies, demonstrate the ability to search, manage, organise and interpret relevant data, make scientific judgments and assessments, as well as the reflect on relevant issues of a social, scientific, technological or ethical nature, and that facilitates the development of critical, logical and creative thinking in relation to the profession of audiovisual communicator.

Learning outcomes of the subject
1. The student will produce audiovisual content in a professional way, in the preparation, production, dissemination and commercialisation phases.
2. The student will master audiovisual techniques and will have sufficient expertise to be able to act as a person in charge of the media.
3. The student will have aesthetic and functional knowledge to optimise the formal presentation of the Communication products.
4. The student will master the techniques of infographics and design, and will have sufficient expertise to be able to take responsibility for the visual area in a communication medium.
5. The student will know how to prepare different informative content for audiovisual media, with special attention to the work of prior documentation and adaptation to the public.
6. The student will devise and produce content dedicated to leisure and entertainment, both from the fiction and non-fiction aspects
7. The student will be able to manage the communication of institutions, organisations and companies with solvency.
8. The student will master the use of verbal and non-verbal language, especially when it is essential with an audience and an audience.
9. The student will know the day-to-day work of the media and audiovisual institutions, as well as the main needs and trends of the sector.
10. The student will be able to design new formats according to existing and emerging devices
11. The student will develop the ability to pitch a professional project before potential investors and exhibitors from the different sectors of the audiovisual market.

Lectures. In lectures, lecturers/professors not only transmit content or knowledge, but also, and above all else, attitudes, motivation, skills and values, etc. They also ensure that participants can express their opinions and arguments to the other students. | 0.2 |
Evaluation systems and criteria

As a sine qua non condition, all work must meet the criteria of "suitable for all audiences" according to the criteria of the Ministry of Education.
*It is necessary to pass separately the evaluation of the tutor and coordinator, as well as that of the examining board.
**In order to deposit the TFG, it is an essential condition to have the approval of the tutor.
***For the recording of the TFG project, no absences will be excused.
Mandatory delivery documents for all projects
For the final delivery, the groups will deposit:
In the coordinator's mailbox between 09:00 and 14:00:
- 1 hard copy of the academic dossier
- 1 pendrive with the audiovisual part of the project
- 1 hard copy of the sales dossier*.
In the moodle of the subject from 09:00 to 14:00h:
- Copy of the academic dossier
- High quality files of the audiovisual project or link with no expiry date.
*Sales dossier content: of a professional nature with all the most relevant information generated by the development of the project. This dossier will be assessed by the professional panel on the day of the defence.
