Introduction
Presentation This subject aims to integrate research into the learning of pediatric dentistry and give it the importance it deserves. In this subject, the scientific literature (format and content) and other types of documentation, bibliographic references, Vancouver standards, the impact factor of scientific journals, obtaining documents (university bibliographic resources) and the bibliographic databases.

Objectives
The objectives are: to promote student collaboration in the different lines of research, both at the bibliographic, laboratory and clinical level; and together with the professors of the master's degree, promote the preparation of scientific papers, for the publication of articles and presentation of national and international papers.
Competences/Learning outcomes of the degree programme
Competences - Obtain the ability to apply the scientific method, and apply the knowledge acquired in solving problems in a scientific field. - Carry out the field study of the research protocol developed in the first year. - Know how to communicate rigorously and based on current scientific literature the results of your research.
Learning outcomes of the subject
Learning outcomes - The student will have made different participations in national and international congresses. - The student will have written a scientific article in order to be published in a journal indexed by the JCR. - The student will have carried out their research work and will have presented the results in a scientific and rigorous way.

Contents There are no specific contents but the tutorials will depend on the research topic of each student.

Methodology and training activities Fully face-to-face mode in the classroom The methodology used in this subject consists of personalized and dynamic tutorials with the student.
Evaluation systems and criteria

Evaluation systems and criteria Fully face-to-face mode in the classroom The student's work will be evaluated continuously throughout the course. The student must meet the dates established at the beginning of the course for the delivery of the works. To this continuous evaluation note will be added the final note of the oral presentation of the research work.
