Introduction
Surgical Buccal Pathology, which is intended to provide future dentists with a basic understanding of surgery which, in many cases, is not used in professional practice for various reasons: lack of practice, loss of this understanding, uncertainty when faced with surgical situations, lack of interest in surgical aspects of the profession, etc.
Once the degree has been completed, this basic understanding may not be sufficient for the dentist to confidently deal with surgical situations, and this understanding may be lost with time if not applied. As such, the aim of this course is to strengthen and broaden this surgical knowledge in recent graduates as far as possible in order to help them deal with such situations in the safest and most confident manner possible. In order to be able to practice correctly, dentists require a comprehensive clinical and surgical understanding of the field of dentistry that allows them to assess and solve any type of surgical situation themselves.
