Introduction
Demographic projections for the next few years tell us of an aging population with more chronic medical conditions. The social reality is causing a considerable number of people with special needs, frail elderly or with important chronic diseases to live in residences or specific centers. These patients require dental care that goes beyond the mere usual and punctual care function, encompassing concepts of prevention and incorporating equipment and differentiated work techniques. Theoretical knowledge about systemic diseases, their influence on the dental situation. mucosal lesions and treatment techniques applied to the elderly are of major importance for the GEMO's Master.
Pre-course requirements
Degree in dentistry or stomatology
Access from other health branches will be assessed by the Master's department
