En aquesta assignatura s'estudiaran en profunditat les següents matèries:

Reabsorcions dentals, perforacions, teràpia de pulpa vital, traumatologia i blanquejament dental.

Adquirir l'habilitat de realitzar tractaments endodòntics i retauracions dentals en pacients que presenten patologia pulpoperiapical, reabsorcions i traumatismes dentals de forma multidisciplinar.

Ser capaç de realitzar presentacions públiques sobre casos clínics propis justificant basant-se en la literatura científica, fent servir correctament la terminologia científica relacionada amb la patologia pulpoperiapical, reabsorcions i traumatologia dental.

Adquirir els criteris científics per triar el tipus de material per segellar una perforació o obturar 1 reabsorció depenent del cas, així com saber actualitzar constantment els seus coneixements en biomaterials dentals usats en l'àmbit de l'endodòncia, coneixent la seva manipulació, propietats, indicacions, biocompatibilitats i toxicitat.

Ser capaç de buscar, organitzar i analitzar, amb esperit crític, utilitzant fonts d'informació biomèdica, la literatura científica sobre temes relacionats amb reabsorcions dentals, teràpia de pulpa vital, traumatismes dentals, perforacions i blanquejament dental per poder seguir el seu procés de formació continuada forma autodirigida i autònoma

Reconèixer i interpretar les imatges i les tècniques diagnòstiques especialitzades que tinguin rellevància en el diagnòstic de reabsorcions, perforacions i traumatismes dentals

Tenir autonomia per realitzar les anamnesi i les exploracions orals als pacients amb traumatismes dentals emplenant la història clínica i el seu curs clínic amb llenguatge i terminologia científica adequada a un professional de la endodòncia.

Ser capaç de diagnosticar i prevenir els trastorns pulpoperiapicales i estar al dia en els avenços diagnòstics i terapèutics que vagin sorgint en el transcurs de la seva vida professional

 

 

Resultats d’aprenentatge de l’assignatura

 

S'espera que l'alumne adquireixi els següents resultats d'aprenentatge:

 

Comprendre la patogènia de la reabsorció interna, externa inflamatòria, externa per substitució i la cervical invasiva.

Comprendre com els diferents agents etiològics poden provocar una reabsorció radicular.

Conèixer els tractaments dentals per als diferents tipus de reabsorcions radiculars.

Capacitat de formular un diagnòstic i pronòstic d'una dent amb reabsorció radicular

Comprendre el mecanisme pel qual una perforació pot provocar la fallada del tractament de conductes.

Capacitat de comprendre el pronòstic d'una dent amb una perforació depenent de les característiques de la perforació

Capacitat de decidir la millor manera i material per abordar la seva reparació en funció de les característiques de la perforació

Comprendre perquè ha variat el pronòstic de les perforacions des de la introducció del MTA.

Comprendre els principis biològics en què es basa la teràpia de pulpa vital

Capacitat de decidir en quins casos realitzar una teràpia de pulpa vital
