UIC Barcelona is committed to ensuring that nobody with a true aptitude and zest for learning should have to drop out of a degree for financial reasons. Student Services offers information and personalised assistance so that students can access these grants and financial aid.

Other grants

All discounts, with the exception of the large family and special single-parent discount, are mutually incompatible.

Large families and special single-parent families

This financial aid is aimed at students from families residing in Spain who hold a large family card valid at the time of enrolment

A 10% grant is awarded for credits enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate and master's degree programmes.

This aid is incompatible with the Grants for Academic Excellence (BEA).
 

Students with siblings enrolled

Students new to a bachelor's degree with siblings studying a degree offered by UIC Barcelona

  • Siblings: the first, 10%; the second, 20%; and the third, 30%.

Alumni

1. Alumni

Students who have completed a bachelor's or master's degree at UIC Barcelona

To be eligible, students must have a bachelor's degree or a master's degree of 60 credits.

  • Dentistry: 5% aid in any postgraduate or master's programme.
  • Rest of degrees: 10% aid for all other degrees in any postgraduate or master's programme.
  • Doctoral programme: 5% grant. 

All discounts, with the exception of the large family and special single-parent discount, are incompatible with each other.

2. Alumni

Students who have completed a bachelor's or master's degree at UIC Barcelona in the academic year prior to the start of the postgraduate or master's degree programme

To be eligible for this grant, students must have a bachelor's degree or a master's degree of 60 credits completed in the immediately preceding academic year. 

  • 15% financial aid in any postgraduate or master's degree, with the exception of postgraduate and master's degrees in dentistry and doctoral programmes.

All discounts, with the exception of the large family and special single-parent discount, are incompatible with each other.

3. Alumni children

For children of alumni members of the alumni association

Children of UIC Barcelona or INEDE alumni who have been members of the alumni group for more than one year have a 5% discount for undergraduate, master's or postgraduate studies.
