Practicums

Practical training is a crucial part of our students’ education. Not only because it enables them to put into practice everything they learn in class, but also because they are assisted by tutors who are also Dentistry professionals.

Our undergraduate students start their practical training in year two, and the percentage of practical subjects increases steadily to 50 % in year four, and 57 % in year five. The students are required to complete 1,140 hours of clinical practice on patients in the University Dentistry Clinic (CUO).

The education we provide our master’s and postgraduate students consists primarily of practical training on patients, which, depending on the master’s or postgraduate degree they take, may comprise up to 85% of the curriculum.
