Student Mireia Alonso receives the Award for Best University Curriculum from the Col·legi d'Economistes de Catalunya
Mireia Alonso, student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) at UIC Barcelona, has been awarded the Award for the best university curriculum, awarded by the Col·legi d'Economistes de Catalunya (College of Economists of Catalonia). The student received the award last 21 November in Barcelona, in an event chaired by various authorities of the sector.
The jury of the Recognition Award of the College of Economists of Catalonia decided to give Mireia Alonso this award for her excellent academic and professional career. The awards ceremony took place within the framework of the 46th anniversary of the founding of the School, in an event that was attended by more than 400 attendees, among which were Josep Rull i Andreu, president of the Parliament of Catalonia; Alícia Romero Llano, minister of Economy and Finance of the Government of Catalonia; and Jordi Valls Riera, deputy mayor of Economy, Finance, Economic Promotion and Tourism of the Barcelona City Council, among others.
In addition to the personal recognition of the jury and the Governing Board of the College of Economists of Catalonia, this award includes free membership for three years, a benefit that will allow the student Mireia Alonso to continue her professional development in the field of economics and finance.
During the awards ceremony, the College of Economists of Catalonia presented other awards in different categories such as the Distinguished Member, Member of Honour, Business Economist, Institutional Economist and Professional Firm. This new edition continued the tradition of recognising excellence in the field of economics and social sciences.
With this award, Mireia Alonso joins the list of excellent UIC Barcelona alums who have been recognised for their academic performance and outstanding professional careers.
