EFFORT AND DEDICATION TO ALL THE DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE PROJECT

Excellent (9, 10) – The project was continued until it was as complete as the student could make it; gave effort far beyond that required; took pride in going well beyond the requirement.

Notable (7, 8) – The student worked hard and completed all the aspects of project well, but with a little more effort it might have been outstanding.

Bien (6) – The student finished the project, but it could have been improved with more effort; adequate interpretation of the assignment, but lacking more preliminary sketches and / or finish; chose an easy project and did it indifferently.

Passed (5) – The project was understood and completed with a minimum effort.

Failed (4 or lower) – The student dedicated little or no time to key steps that the project required.  Those steps could be the preparatory sketches, collecting references and / or the final result.

The below characteristics, according to the activity, will be helpful to look for and evaluate in the above.

With quality time spent, dedication and effort it is more likely to be

CREATIVITE / ORIGINAL / UNIQUE / SINGULAR

and there is also much more probable that there is a better;

USE OF ELEMENTS OF DESIGN: LINE, TEXTURE, COLOR, SHAPE/FORM, VALUE, SPACE;

USE OF PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN. REPETITION, BALANCE, EMPHASIS, HIERCAHY, CONTRAST, CONTOURS, UNITY AND COMPOSITION

And then the more quality time one dedicates to

CRAFTSMANSHIP / SKILL

the better one gets.
