Introduction
The education programs of the University have a strong professional orientation, which makes internships very important . Work placements are a student training environment in terms of knowledge and skills are performed under an agreement with the company and under the supervision and monitoring of the University and a representative of the company.
Work placement in companies focus as a tool for student training and start to reflect on where the student wants to professionally develop. Monitoring is carried out through the university tutor and company tutor. This monitoring is done continuously and is formalized through various reports and meetings with the tutor university, where job tracking is performed with each of the students.
Competences/Learning outcomes of the degree programme

Teaching and learning activities

Para desarrollar competentemente los contenidos, la Universidad ofrece los servicios de:
Programa PROFESIONALÍZATE!, donde los alumnos disfrutarán de diferentes sesiones, entre ellas:
- Sesión de preparación del CV: talleres y revisión.
- Asesoramiento vocacional
- Sesion de "Cómo realizar una entrevista personal"
- Sesión "Social Media: cómo estar presente en la red"
- Sesiones de mentoring y profesionalidad en la empresa.
Sequimiento y apoyo personalizado durante la busqueda y el periodo de prácticas:
- Búsqueda de empresas y gestión de convenios.
- Seguimiento y apoyo al alumnado durante las prácticas.
- Sesiones de tutoria: realizacion de un "Plan personalizado de mejora en competencias"
Evaluation systems and criteria
In person
- 30% Comunicación con el tutor/a de UIC Barcelona. Esto incluye:
- Proactividad en la búsqueda de prácticas
- Comunicación y reuniones con el/la tutor/a de universidad.
- Informes de seguimiento y autoevaluación.
- Asistencia al programa Profesionalízate.
- 35% Informes del tutor/a de empresa.
- 35% Memoria de las prácticas: (i) Es condición indispensable aprobar la Memoria para que pueda ponderar su nota con las dos componentes anteriores; (ii) En caso de suspender la Memoria la nota final de la asignatura será la obtenida en la Memoria; (iii) En el Anexo-1 se especifica su modo exacto de evaluación.
