Professional experience
She has a PhD in History of Art from the University of Barcelona and currently works as a conservator and collections manager at the MACBA. She used to be an exhibitions conservator for Barcelona City Council and taught on the master's degree in Cultural Heritage Management and Museology at the University of Barcelona. From 2007 to 2017, she lectured on Visual Arts Management as part of the master's degree in Arts and Cultural Management at UIC Barcelona, where she is currently responsible for the subject “Curation Management and Exhibitions”. She has given classes and talks at a range of universities in Spain and abroad, taken part in round table discussions and formed part of artistic juries and academic tribunals. She has curated exhibitions at the MACBA and has held her own touring exhibitions. Her exhibition Doneu-vos la mà i pugeu a l’infern (Shake hands and climb into hell), and the accompanying book, won her the ACCA Research Prize in 2017. She has written books and research articles and regularly contributes to specialised committees on markets and heritage at public Catalan institutions.
