On 19, 20 and 21 January, the University organises Welcome Week aimed at international mobility students who come to the UIC Barcelona for one semester or the full academic year. Welcome Week has a duration of three days:

●    01 January, Welcome Session: 

- Welcome Session at the Barcelona Campus: 10.30 a.m. Aula Jardí (for those mobility students who come to study in Barcelona)
- Welcome Session at the Sant Cugat Campus 10.30 a.m., in classrooms Aula P0A01 and Aula P0A02 (for those students for those mobility students who come to study in Sant Cugat)

●    02 January Workshops: 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. For all students. At the Sant Cugat Campus. 

- Workshop "Catalan for Dummies": Catalan language introduction workshop taught by the Department of Applied Linguistics.
- Cultural Workshop: to learn more about how to adapt to a new culture and city and make new friends, taught by the International Relations Service.

●    03 January City Tour: 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Guided tour of Barcelona by coach and official guide.
