Our mission is to train people who contribute to humanising the transformation of society through professional excellence, impact research, integrity and social commitment.

To fulfil its mission, UIC Barcelona:

Searching for the Truth

• We want to find answers to the challenges posed by society, providing knowledge and time to study, and promoting dialogue, critical thinking and intellectual curiosity.
• To seek the truth implies being open to other ideas and not simply accepting the obvious, seeking relevant information and analysing it in depth, contrasting one’s own perceptions with data and facts, asking for opinions from other people. It is important to reflect on a spirit of public service before taking a firm stance and making decisions that will have consequences on people and the environment.
