As part of its Strategic Plan, UIC Barcelona works to strengthen its relationship with industry and to increase the transfer of knowledge.

Interaction with companies that want to innovate in conjunction with the University is channelled through the Knowledge Transfer and Valorisation Centre (CTC-VR) at UIC Barcelona.

The mission of the CTC-VR is to facilitate cooperation between its research groups and nearby institutions in order to encourage innovation, and monitor the orientation of university R + D activities based on the technological interests in the socio-economic environment.
