Conferences–colloquia

UIC Barcelona promotes spaces and times for meetings to reflect on particular topics.

These meetings foster knowledge, the transfer of values in line with the UIC's principles and the development of professional and social skills.

We organise conferences, colloquia and discussions for the entire university community and anyone interested. The events aim to promote personal development, get people together and build human relationships.

Talk by Juan Carlos Unzué, former professional football player and coach, in which he talks about his personal struggle against ALS and values such as effort, overcoming the odds and sacrifice.

He is be accompanied by Daniel Rossines, entrepreneur and swimmer who is taking part in the Upside Down Challenge to raise funds for ALS research.

Olga Bajnovic is the author of the book Una odisea amor y guerra. Olga is the third daughter of Luka and Anna, the protagonists of her novel, a true story that unfolds over 40 years from the invasion of Kotor by Mussolini's troops.

Paul Ponce, a young juggler from Argentina from a long line (six generations, in fact!) of artists, has taken his show around the globe. Appearing alongside his family — his wife and five kids — he'll show us what is hidden behind his story.
