The Department of Nursing from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is organising a new edition of the Health Promotion Day, aimed at students in the 3rd and 4th years of compulsory secondary education (ESO), baccalaureate and vocational training courses throughout Catalonia. 

Under the slogan ¿Qué pasa cuando te pasas? Todo por la salud mental (What happens when you go too far? Mental health first), nursing students will lead practical and visual workshops where young participants can reflect and learn how to deal with situations related to issues such as alcohol and drug use, bullying, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, social networks or mental health.

This year's edition will once again be supported by the Emergency Medical Service (SEM) and, for the first time, by psychology students, who will lead the mental health workshop.
