The Updates in Dentistry Conference (JAO) is a scientific conference organised by the Faculty of Dentistry of UIC Barcelona since 2007, aimed at professionals in the sector, both dentists and dental hygienists.

The main objective of this initiative is to offer tools to professionals so that they can update their knowledge and clinical skills to respond to current needs of patients and the sector in every area of dentistry. During the conference, attendees will also be able to access the commercial exhibition area where industry companies will be highlighting the latest in equipment and materials.

Once again, the conference will be a meeting place for faculty graduates, dentists and dental hygienists.

As is tradition, the conference will also include the Alumni reunion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Dentistry class of 2004.

2nd CAREER FORUM

This meeting with the professional world will also take place within the framework of the JAO, organised by the Alumni & Careers department and the Faculty of Dentistry. The Career Forum is a networking space to bring the working world closer to students of the Faculty. The area will feature stands with national and international companies that students can contact to learn about different professional opportunities.
