21st Century Cities: Biophilia and Sustainability with Cases Singulars
Aula B601
The Faculty of Humanities is kicking off a new series of lectures with Cases Singulars. In commemoration of the International Town Planning Day, Professor Alberto Estévez, architect and full professor, will speak on 21st Century Cities: Biophilia and Sustainability.
The conference will be held onsite in the B601 classroom on Barcelona Campus (UIC Barcelona) on Wednesday, 8 November at 6.30 p.m. It will also be available online.
Dr Estévez will talk about architecture, nature and biolearning. Unique houses, cases singulars, of Catalan Modernism are characterised, among other things, by their biophilia, the love of nature, that when applied to urban planning, makes our cities more sustainable.
