UIC Barcelona is organising the second edition of the Entrepreneurship Series 2022 called Emprèn through the Department of Alumni & Careers and the vice-rectorate for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer 

After the first session on 17 May, in which Jordi Belda, a serial entrepreneur, and Ramon Saltor, CEO of Dozen Investments talked about the key characteristics of an entrepreneur, we have organised the second session of the series.

Titled “Intrapreneur, corporate entrepreneurship”, on 8 June three speakers from the world of the business will answer questions about innovation and internal disruption in the corporate world. The round table will be moderated by UIC Barcelona lecturer Juanjo Marin and will be at 18 p.m. It can be followed online.

About the session

Is it possible to create a disruptive project inside an organisation? Can you be entrepreneurial from within a big company? Yes, it is possible. This is known as being an ‘intrapreneur’.

This table aims to approach the concept of intrapreneurs as the internal professionals that drive projects creating new lines of business within a company. Likewise, the session will be the ideal context for discussing the maturity of corporations to allow the right climate for the development of new ideas, factors conducive to intra-enterprise, and characteristics of the business that are necessary to promote internal innovation. 

Three speakers from the world of business will answer questions about innovation and internal disruption in the corporate world.
