4th session| Social Entrepreneurship: Purpose-driven Entrepreneurs

UIC Barcelona, through the Department of Alumni & Careers and the Vice-rectorate for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer, is organising the second edition of the Emprèn Entrepreneurship Series. 


Purpose-driven entrepreneurship aims to generate change in society by inspiring others with the purpose-driven entrepreneur’s actions and vision.
On 27 October, in the fourth session titled “Social Entrepreneurship: Purpose-driven Entrepreneurs”, we will talk to three entrepreneurs who have founded and run businesses with a clear social purpose and who represent businesses that work for the inclusion of people with functional disabilities or who have been excluded, companies whose mission is the care and well-being of the elderly and business that seek to improve the environment with solutions that can help stop climate change.

  • Marta Mas, dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
