Are you an entrepreneur?  In this session we will describe successful examples of new companies funded by sector leaders who can make your dream a reality.  We will also talk about the development Barcelona has witnessed in terms of the provision of venture capital for entrepreneurs. 

 

Within the current macroeconomic context, due to the lack of existing credit, venture capital and private equity industries are increasingly becoming an alternative source of funding for companies. In Catalonia and in Barcelona in particular there are large numbers of organisations specialising in this sector that support and fund the development of new companies. In some circles Barcelona is now being presented in the same way that Silicon Valley was presented in the United States at one time.
