Certify your English level | Preparation workshop and official exam

At Department of Applied Linguistics we want you to certify your English level.
- How?
On July 6th, a multi-level exam will be held where you can certify any of these levels: A2, B1, B2 or C1. We are offering you the chance to get an official certificate of your level by doing just one general exam!
- What certificate will I get?
A certificate from the School of Modern Languages of the University of Barcelona (EIM), recognised by the Government of Catalonia and all Spanish universities. With this certificate you will be able to participate in a mobility programme. This certificate is also an accepted qualification for working in both the public and private sectors.
- How does it work?
We are offering you a preparation workshop that includes an official exam where you can certify one of these English levels: A2, B1, B2 or C1. The 10-hour workshop will give you the tools to pass the multi-level EIM exam.
- Preparation workshop for the multilevel English certificate exam
Virtual campus, 5 sessions: June 29th, 30th and July 3th, 4th and 5th, from 10 am to 12 pm.
- Exam
-Written exam: July 6th, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the University of Barcelona.
-Oral exam: July 6th, 2023 (time will be assigned after registration is closed).
-Publication of results: July 13th, 2023.
Deadline for registration 12 April.
Price: €150, exam fees included.

Scholarship and aid for the exam
Once you have obtained an A2, B1 or B2 CEFR level, you can apply for an AGAUR grant and be reimbursed for the tuition fee*. You will have time to apply until 30 September 2023. The call for 22/23 grants will soon be published in this link: grants and funding for certifying levels of a third language.
* In the event that you obtain the C1 level of English you will not be able to apply for the AGAUR scholarship.
