Music produces diferent effect on us: it stimulates our movements, it relaxes us, it makes us feel part of a group, and it brings back memories, etc.  However its ability to generate and express emotions is what is especially recognised about music. All of this can facilitate good health and well-being, as long as it is done based on professional judgement. For that reason, music therapy is a scientific discipline that is becoming more and more prevalent in healthcare, educational and social fields.  In this seminar-workshop, we will explore the basic key areas of the use of music in emotional management.
