This expert seminar will explore new forms of violence that have become more prominent during the pandemic. In addition to gender-based violence, these include instances of intra-family violence that affect children and work-related stress caused by remote working and the dual working day.

• Consuelo León (head of the Equality Unit and director of the Observatory on Family Policies. UIC Barcelona)

Speakers:

• Adela Berrozpe (lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology. UIC Barcelona): A psychologist and family psychotherapist, she will discuss ways of coping with these types of situation in the family sphere.
• Valeria Cruz Ortiz (lecturer at the Universitat Jaume I): She will offer tools to minimise work-related stress in intensive remote working environments from an occupational health perspective.
• Enrique Armengou Orús (psychiatrist): The stress caused by an exceptional situation such as the one we are experiencing has influenced the mental health of women and children  in particular.
• Paloma Alonso (professor at the Faculty of Psychology. UIC Barcelona): Personal relations: Parenting for Lifelong Health
