#GivingTuesday is a global movement that seeks to encourage as many people as possible to do good deeds. The aim is to dedicate one day around the world, this year 27 November, to celebrate giving. 

Our project for #GivingTuesday is the Grants Programme for Social Inclusion. At UIC Barcelona, we have a commitment: we strive to ensure that anyone with drive and talent has the chance to go to university. We feel money or postcode should never stop someone from pursuing their life project.

At 12 p.m. in the cafeteria in the Beta building on the Barcelona Campus, we will host a coffee-colloquium, with talks by grant-holders Sonia Escañuela, a Pre-Primary Education student, and Mohammad Jamal Abo Ora, a Dentistry student. The event will be moderated by Business Administration student Pablo Cárabe.
