Guided tour of the Turner exhibition at the MNAC
On Saturday, 18 June at 11.15 a.m., UIC Barcelona Student Services is organising a cultural getaway to the National Museum of Art of Catalonia (MNAC) for a guided tour of the William Turner exhibition with the dean and lecturer of the Faculty of Humanities, Judith Urbano.
Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) was a Romantic painter, watercolourist and engraver for whom the elements of nature were abstract forces, with their own symbolism and meaning. The MNAC exhibition explores his fascination with meteorological and atmospheric phenomena, from the beginning of his work in 1790 until the end of 1840.
Saturday, 18 June at 11.15 a.m. At the entrance of the MNAC (Parc de Montjuïc)
