“Nursing Leadership in Patient Safety”

The Decide Chair is organising a “Nursing Leadership in Patient Safety” day to examine and discuss the importance of promoting a culture of patient safety among health professionals and especially students of the degree in Nursing. 

The session will be opened by Dr Guillem Bruch, medical director of Boehringer-Ingelheim, and will include experts of reference in the area. Among them will be Dr Azucena Santillán-García, nurse from the University Hospital of Burgos and scientific consultant for the Spanish Parliament; Dr Santiago Tomás Vecina, managing director of the FIDISP Foundation; Cristina Alfonso-Arias, lecturer at the Department of Nursing at UIC Barcelona, and Dr Marina García Gámez, lecturer at the Department of Nursing at the University of Málaga.

They will all share their professional and research experience to analyse current approaches to patient safety and the important role of nurse leadership. See the full programme.

This event is aimed at professionals and students of the health sciences.
