Online information session on the Postgraduate Degree in Accessibility and Design for All – Online
In October, the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture will launch the sixth edition of the Postgraduate Degree in Accessibility and Design for All, directed by architect and School lecturer Enrique Rovira-Beleta.
This postgraduate programme is the first formal academic initiative to take a global perspective on and cross-cutting approach to accessibility. It is a specialised course that will teach students to understand, identify, design, market and facilitate accessible design for all. Its teaching staff includes renowned professors and representatives from organisations for people with disabilities and institutions that provide universal accessibility services. The degree combines theory and hands-on experience, and, thanks to new technologies, students can follow it in real time from anywhere on the planet via video-conference.
This edition is supported by the Government of Catalonia and Barcelona City Council, in collaboration with numerous institutions and companies: Válida sin Barreras, the Adecco Foundation and the Salas y Puntodis Foundation.
