Public presentation self-report of accreditation of the Doctorate in Communication, Education and Humanities
The Doctoral School is immersed in the accreditation process of the Doctoral Program in Communication, Education and Humanities, a process described in the Framework for the Verification, Monitoring, Modification and Accreditation of Official Degrees (MVSMA) established by the Catalan University System Agency, AQU Catalunya.
Next May, an External Evaluation Committee made up of AQU Catalunya will visit UIC Barcelona in order to evaluate the development of the degrees.
Specifically, the accreditation visit has the following objectives:
- Ensure the quality of the training programs offered, in accordance with the qualification levels established and the criteria of current regulations.
- Guarantee valid and reliable information that helps in the decisions of users of the university system.
- Facilitate internal processes for improving the quality of programs and services developed by Catalan universities.
On the one hand, the self-report prepared and presented in the accreditation process is made available to the entire educational community, until next March 1, on the website of the Doctoral School (Quality: SGIC) of UIC Barcelona. Anyone interested can consult, and if they consider it, make comments. Comments can be sent through the following email address: edoc@uic.es.
On the other hand, among the different hearings planned, a public hearing is established where all those people who are interested in expressing their opinion on the development of the following degrees can attend: Doctorate in Communication, Education and Humanities. It is reported that the public hearing will take place on May 3, 2023 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. virtually in the following Zoom room.
