Among the activities planned to mark the 25th anniversary of UIC Barcelona, a Solidarity Race will take place next November. It is a mountain race that passes through the trails and paths of Collserola and raises funds for two different charities: NASCO Feeding Minds, which provides computer classrooms in rural schools in Ghana, and the Moragas School, which serves people with intellectual disabilities and their families.

This is the sixth edition of the race organised by CMU Pedralbes, and UIC Barcelona is getting involved to encourage the entire university community to participate together in this charity sporting event.

The race will be held on 13 November in the morning, and consists of three categories:

• Trail half marathon (22.5 km). Elevation gain: +1100 m.
• Trail (11 km). Elevation gain: +550 m.
• Hike (8 km). Elevation gain: +500 m.

We encourage everyone to participate and collaborate with this good cause while celebrating 25 years of UIC Barcelona in a healthy way through sport. You could also collaborate simply by making a donation.
