UIC Barcelona is organising a series of seminars under the title “Female leadership in times of crisis”, an initiative open to all PAS and PDI staff members at the University. The first session will provide a space to discuss chapters from the book Mujeres brújula en un bosque de retos. Ideas para superar la adversidad (‘Compass women in a forest of challenges: Ideas for overcoming adversity’) by Isabel Sánchez.

The objective of this series, held online once a month, is to create a space for dialogue and reflection among participants regarding important issues that could improve our lives and the lives of those around us. As such, the sessions will present stories of people who are helping to make the world a better place.

The seminar on 10 March at 3 p.m. will broach a key and current issue in a session titled “Work and Family: to reconcile or to harmonise?”, thus opening the floor to discussion and debate. This event will be moderated by Dr Mireia Tintoré, lecturer at the Faculty of Education at UIC Barcelona.
