On April 17th, the final of the third edition of the Startup Pioneer Program, the project that allows students to launch an idea, business project, or social impact initiative, will be celebrated. The event, driven by the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, is open to the entire university community.

The event will be full of surprises and will feature the presence of entrepreneurs who will share ideas and experiences about their projects, such as Gerard Olivé, co-founder of companies like Wallapop and Glovo, among others.

During the event, the voting for the grand final of the Startup Pioneer Program will take place, which seeks the best idea for a business project and social impact.

• Event opening by Mrs. Laura Rubio, Director of External Relations and Chief of Staff.
• Welcome by Dr. Alfonso Méndiz, Rector of UIC Barcelona.
• Panel discussion moderated by Juanjo Marín with the presence of: Gerard Olivé, Josep Graells, Andrés Echecopar.
• Pitch presentations of the 3 FOR PROFIT finalists.
• Pitch presentations of the 3 FOR NON PROFIT finalists.
• Voting (via Mentimeter) and award ceremony.
• Award ceremony.
• Closing remarks by Dr. Marta Mas Degana, from the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of UIC Barcelona.
