On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya has organised a commemorative event. 

Programme:

6 p.m. Introduction from the dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Judith Urbano, and the General Consul for Poland in Barcelona, Marek Ciesielczuk. 

6.15 p.m. Conference title: Marició Janué i Miret (Pompeu Fabra University): “The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising: a great symbol of the human value of resistence”. 

6.50 p.m. Screening of a documentary entitled: “The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising according to Marek Edelman”, directed by Jolanta Dylewska (1993).  

8 p.m. Debate and closing session with Iwona Malecka, from the Catalan-Polish Cultural Association.
