Presentation

In recent years, the world has undergone a technological revolution that has reached virtually every aspect of life. This digital technological revolution has meant a great change in the way of working, of doing dentistry both in terms of diagnostics as in treatment. Currently, the knowledge and mastery of digital techniques has become essential for the dentist to achieve the highest levels of quality and accuracy of work. For this reason, Dental faculties have been including concepts, devices and software programmes in their degree programmes.

With the aim of offering specific, organised and solid training that would allow dental professionals to respond to the needs of the sector, the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Dentistry is promoting this master's degree programme. This training is not only necessary for the student who is studying the Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry, but is of great help to the generations of dentists who began their training in an analogue environment and have had to adapt to the great technological change experienced in the sector to keep up-to-date in their profession.
