Accommodation grants
Objective
Accommodation grants are a training project aimed at complementing the academic knowledge of university students and promoting the spread of universal values such as freedom, respect, diversity, citizenship, responsibility, social commitment, etc.
With this objective UIC Barcelona is promoting the accommodation grant to offer financial assistance to students with excellent academic records who are enrolled in UIC Barcelona and during the academic year are living in one of the student residencies the university has an agreement with; Bonaigua, Pedralbes or Monterols.
Amount
Six annual grants of €2,000 each will be awarded.
General requirements
Students who want to access a UIC Barcelona accommodation grant must:
- Enrol in UIC Barcelona for a minimum of 60 credits (2023-2024 academic year).
- Live in a student residence that has an agreement with UIC Barcelona (during the 2023-2024 academic year).
- Have passed all the credits from the previous year and have at least an average mark of 7 in both higher secondary school and their university degree.
Application Deadlines
15 October to 15 June. Decision before July 15.
Application
The grant application will be through the online form , with the following documentation attached:
- Photocopy of national ID card (DNI)/ NIE/Passport
- Letter of motivation
- Academic record from the most recent year of study
- Admission letter from student residence
- Collective certificate for the whole family
- Income statements of all members of the household
- Other income certificates not included in the income statement (pensions, disability, unemployment benefits, etc.)
- Large or single-parent family card (if applicable)
Payment of the grant:
For the renewal of the grant, the student must maintain the academic requirements, resubmit the application and attach the updated documentation.
