Over 50 speakers, more than 500 attendees from all over the world and over 300 online participants form part of the 1st International Workshop on Family Support, held on 13, 14 and 15 May. The aim of the congress, organised by the Institute for Advanced Family Studies at UIC Barcelona, is to become a meeting point and forum for reflection on family support for people who dedicate or want to dedicate themselves to this highly important task.

In this video, the Italian neuropsychiatrist Mariolina Ceriotti talks about equality and difference, family relationships and about personal identity as a man or a woman. She was invited by the Institute of Advanced Family Studies (IESF) UIC Barcelona. In this video, Italian neuropsychiatrist Mariolina Ceriotti discusses how to educate on complementarity. In the conference entitled “Fatherhood/motherhood: the difference that reveals who we are,” Dr. Ceriotti considers, among other issues, the role of the family in gender distinction.
