What?
A semester-long course consisting of 45 on-site hours and 30 hours of online work (5.5 ECTS) that explores the basic rules of Catalan grammar and will help you increase your lexical repertoire, express yourself fluidly and correctly while speaking and writing and have formal conversations on issues of both general and specific interest. This course includes a final B2-level (CEFR) CLUC exam, which could earn you a certificate recognised by the Government of Catalonia.

Certification
An intermediate B2-level Catalan certificate recognised by the Government of Catalonia. To earn a certificate, you must attend at least 80% of the on-site sessions, successfully complete the online and class-based activities and pass the CLUC exam.
Credit recognition
This course has a workload of 5.5 ECTS credits. If you are a UIC Barcelona undergraduate student, you can request recognition of 3 ECTS credits for taking the course. If you are an Erasmus student, you can include this course in your learning agreement. For mobility students, the number of credits recognised for this course will depend on your home university.
