B2 First, C1 Advanced and IELTS exams

The Departament d'Ensenyament and the Departament d'Economia i Coneixement of Generalitat de Catalunya regulate the recognition of the accreditation of linguistic competence in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) through degrees, diplomas and certificates issued by competent institutions and universities.

At UIC Barcelona you can take the exams for the following official certificates:
 

• On-campus exam at UIC Barcelona (Iradier 22, 08017 Barcelona)
• Exam price: 209 € 
• Next exam date: 19 April 2024
• Written section: 9.00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
• Oral section: from 2.30 p.m. onwards (time will be allocated once registrations are closed.)
• Communication of results: 15 days from the date of the exam
• Issuance of certificates: 5 weeks from the date of the exam
• Deadline for enrolment: 3 weeks before the date of the exam
• Enrolment for the next exam: 19 April 2024

At UIC Barcelona preparation courses for this exam are offered. The price of the course does not include the exam fee. 

Cambridge B2 First Preparation Course

• On-campus exam at UIC Barcelona (Iradier 22, 08017 Barcelona)
• Exam price: €225.50
• Next exam date: 19 April 2024
• Written section: 9.00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Oral part: from 2.30 p.m. onwards (time will be allocated once registrations are closed.)
• Communication of results: 15 days from the date of the exam
• Issuance of certificates: 5 weeks from the date of the exam
• Deadline for enrolment: 3 weeks before the date of the exam
• Enrolment for the next exam: 19 April 2024

Cambridge C1 Advanced Preparation Course

• On-campus exam at UIC Barcelona (Iradier, 22 08017 Barcelona)
• Exam price for UIC students €228 
  To obtain the reduced fee for UIC students, you must include this code: UIC1204BCN
• Next exam date: 1 December 2023, 12 April 2024 and 8 July 2024
• Communication of results: between 3 days from the date of the exam
• Issuance of certificates: 10 days from the date of the exam
  The IELTS on computer exam results will be only received electronically. Candidates can download the electronic version of the results (eTRF) from the Test Taker Portal between 3 and 8 days from the date of the exam.
• Deadline for enrolment: 15 days before the date of the exam
  Enrolment for the next exam: 12 April 2024
