Alberto T. Estévez, lecturer in Projects and director of the Master's Degree in Biodigital Architecture at the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture, was invited to deliver a conference at Zilele Arhitecturii 2016: Creative Research.
Under the title "Biodigital Architecture & Genetics", Professor Estévez presented the research and teaching projects he is involved in as a member of the School's research group and Master's Degree in Biodigital Architecture. Other event participants included lecturers from the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL, the AA School of Architecture, the Hyperbody Research Group from the Faculty of Architecture at the Delft University of Technology and the ITKE at the University of Stuttgart.
The seminar, organised by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, took place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from 20 to 26 June 2016. The aim of Zilele Arhitecturii 2016: Creative Research was to promote the importance and raise awareness of architecture among the general population, irrespective of age or specialisation.
