The Alumni Breakfasts bring together experts in Law and Business Management to create future synergies

The first meeting with INEDE Law Alumni was organised on 20 June and a meeting with INEDE Business Management Alumni a week later. 

The Alumni Breakfasts have successfully brought to a close the first meetings with professionals and experts in their field who previously passed through the halls of the university. With the aim of creating future synergies, explaining UIC Barcelona projects and sharing experiences and concerns about the job market, Alumni and the Department of Corporate Development brought together former students from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences. 

The first networking breakfast took place on 20 June with INEDE Law alumni and was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Law, Pilar Fernández, alongside nine former students who discussed the challenges facing the faculty. The group was made up of the bead of business development and projects at Net Craman Abogados, Gemma Brulles; partner at Navas & Cusí Abogados, Miriam Cusí; area manager at Más Prevención, Carlos Fontes; and partner at Iuridic Advocats Batlle Lluch Serrano, Patricia Lluch. 

The meeting was also attended by the head of HR at ABB, Joaquín Lombardo; managing partner of Losa & Asociados, José María Losa; law partner at Pentalegis, Manuel Miró; partner at Navas & Cusí Abogados, Juan Ignacio Navas and managing director of KPMG, Monica Yéboles. 

Meeting with Business Management Alumni

The second meeting was held on 28 June, this time with alumni from INEDE Business Management. Alongside the dean of the faculty, Marta Mas, and the vice-dean David Tanganelli, eight former students of UIC Barcelona attended the breakfast where they networked with former colleagues and university staff to weigh up possible joint projects and to debate on the challenges facing the faculty.  

Alumni participating in the meeting were: María Pilar Brujas, board member at Mayoral and managing director of Instituto Internacional San Telmo; Mercedes Busquets of Busquets Consultors and the founding partner of Feliu N&I, Montserrat Feliu. The meeting was also attended by the managing director of Finaves and lecturer at IESE and Inalde business schools, Alberto Fernández; partner at Deloitte, José Antonio González; and José Enrique Gras from Dauco Designs. Sílvia Lamarca, head of financial management at the Andilana Group and Cristina Prats from Angelini Beauty were also in attendance.
