Architecture students present their ideas for improving Bellvitge’s schools in the exhibition “Made in Bellvitge: Want to improve the neighbourhood?”

Students from the ESARQ - School of Architecture presented ways to improve school accessibility in the Bellvitge district in the exhibition titled “Made in Bellvitge: Want to improve the neighbourhood?”

Curated by Universitat Sense Fronteres, a group of architects from different architecture universities, the exhibit features a series of projects depicting how Bellvitge’s urban space could be developed in the future. It includes six prototypes aimed at improving housing, adapting to new needs, integrating the river and/or rethinking the district’s urban infrastructure.

The projects designed by students from the ESARQ - School of Architecture seek to improve access to the neighbourhood’s various schools. This task was undertaken as part of the subject Cooperation 2, taught by lecturers Sandra Bestraten and Emilio Hormías.

The exhibition “Made in Bellvitge” will remain on display until 21 October 2017 at the Bellvitge – Gornal Cultural Centre in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.
