The architecture studio ELIA collaborates with UIC Barcelona grants programme
ELIA has signed a collaboration agreement with UIC Barcelona to support the talent of architecture students within the framework of the annual No Talent Without a Future campaign.
Enterprise for Large International Architecture (ELIA) is a company founded by architect Borja Ferrater, alumnus and professor at UIC Barcelona, partner of the internationally awarded OAB Company.
The Grants and Financial Aid Programme allocated 5.8 million euros for the benefit of students (academic year 22-23) and is provided thanks to the efforts of the university itself, individuals, companies, institutions and foundations.
The ELIA Architecture Studio (Enterprise for Large International Architecture) collaborates with the UIC Barcelona Grants and Financial Aid Programme, with a contribution that will enable a student with financial needs to access the Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
This agreement underlines the commitment of both institutions to the training of future professionals and the promotion of equal opportunities in education.
A commitment to training and talent
“We are grateful for ELIA's trust in our educational project and its contribution to the grants and financial aid programme, which ensures that no talent is left without a future,” said Alfonso Méndiz, rector of UIC Barcelona, during the signing of the agreement.
Borja Ferrater, CEO & Partner Architect at ELIA, said: “At ELIA, we strongly believe in the transformative power of education. This agreement allows us to actively contribute to the development of talent and support the students who will build the future of our society.”
This agreement reaffirms UIC Barcelona and ELIA's commitment to education, equal opportunities and the construction of a fairer society that is better prepared for the challenges of the future.
