Students from the Faculty of Communication Sciences who would like to extend their studies in the United States.  As well as the double degrees at Iona College, students can take advantage of the agreements that UIC Barcelona has established with the Universidad de Los Angeles (UCLA) and UC Berkeley.

In Los Angeles, students from the Faculty of Communication Sciences (along with ADE and Architecture students) will be eligible for a 15% discount on professionalising extension programmes at UCLA.

The benefits that students can obtain through this new agreement are multiple: as well as a reduction in the cost of the programme, it also offers unique opportunities for professional experience in the United States. On the one hand, it allows students to do undertake work experience related to the programme in the United States while studying, and on the other hand, it also offers the option to stay and work in the country once the programme is over and obtain a 12-month work permit.

SUMMER COURSES

At the University of Berkeley, students from the Faculty can sign up for their summer courses and receive official recognition for them as well.  This means that the subjects taken at UC Berkeley will have credits corresponding to the degree the student is taking at UIC Barcelona officially recognised.

This programme is only aimed at students with an excellent academic record who hold a certificate accrediting a minimum of a B2 level of English.
