One of our professors from the Faculty of Humanities at UIC Barcelona,  Joan Hernández, who is also the Director of the Stable Work Group on Religions (GTER), participated at a round table in the Restaurant of the Catalan National Theatre (TNC), on 28 October. The round table was entitled “Culture as a tool for cohesion and social integration”. Other participants included Manuel Delgado, holder of a PhD in Anthropology; Núria Sempere, Director of the School of Music - Arts Centre in Hospitalet (EMMC) and Mohammed Halhoul, member of the Islamic Federation Council in Catalonia.  They talked about how culture and cultural activities can become tools that encourage cohesion and social integration.
