New Medical Economics, a leading digital publication for healthcare management and patient care, has announced the winners of its annual prizes. In this year’s edition, Dr Boi Ruiz was awarded the 2018 New Medical Economics Prize in the “Best Personality in Healthcare” category. Dr Ruiz runs the University Master's Degree in Healthcare Management and the Healthcare Management and Health Policy Chair belonging to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Boi Ruiz is also the director of the University Institute for Patient Care, an institution whose overall objective is to analyse the needs of and provide health education and training to patients, their family members and associations.
