From 3 to 5 June, the Harvard School of Dental Medicine hosted an International Symposium on Advanced Dentistry, organised by the Division of Periodontology, which brought together teaching staff, students and experts in Periodontology and Implants from 15 countries.

 

Dr Vanessa Ruiz Magaz, a lecturer in the area of Periodontology in the Faculty of Dentistry, took part as a speaker with a lecture entitled “How to Treat Peri-Implantitis: From Diagnosis to Treatment Strategies”. In her talk, Dr Ruiz Magaz showed the latest protocols for treating peri-implantitis, which are based on scientific studies and incorporate the most innovative trends and technologies currently available. According to Dr Ruiz Magaz, “presenting the work we do in our faculty to colleagues from universities around the world was a fantastic experience”.
