The three lecturers in Art History from the Faculty of Humanities presented two papers.

Dr Marta Crispí, Dr Sergio Fuentes and Dr Judith Urbano, members of the History, Architecture and Design Research Group (GRHAD) at UIC Barcelona, recently took part in the 22nd Spanish National Congress of Art History in Burgos, 19-22 June.

The lecturers in Art History from the Faculty of Humanities participated in a congress organised by the Spanish Committee for Art History (CEHA). This conference is one of the academic events organised by the CEHA, which has been holding national congresses biannually for over four decades.

On this occasion, Dr Fuentes and Dr Crispí presented the paper entitled “Las pinturas murales de José María Sert en la catedral de Vic y la Creación del espacio Sert" (Mural paintings by José María Sert on the Vic Cathedral and the creation of the Sert Gallery). On the other hand, Dr Urbano presented the paper “Los relieves ‘a la romana’ de la desaparecida Casa Gralla en Barcelona” (Roman-style reliefs from the now non-existent Casa Gralla in Barcelona).
