Estedi joins the Chair for Management by Missions and Corporate Government at UIC Barcelona

The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona) and Estedi have signed a cooperation agreement whereby the pharmaceutical company has become the tenth company to make a firm commitment to the Chair for Management by Missions and Corporate Government.

As with the rest of the companies that cooperate with the Chair, by signing this agreement, the pharmaceutical laboratory manifests its desire to conduct research on a management model that incorporates the concept of mission, promoting commitment to the people that make up companies.

Created in 2012, the Chair for Management by Missions and Corporate Government at UIC Barcelona focuses on research projects that explore corporate strategy and missions, people and work, as well as the role of companies in society from a humanistic point of view.

Thanks to the increasing number of companies that believe in management by missions, the Chair is currently supported by ten companies from diverse sectors: Aitex, Ferrer, Semillas Fitó, Fundería Condals, Huf, Jiménez Maña Corporación, JJC Contratistas Generales, Industrial Química del Nalón, Vygon and the newly incorporated Estedi.

Present at the signing of the agreement were Mr Álvaro Calzada, director-general of Estedi, the directors of the Chair, Dr Miquel Bastons and Dr Carlos Rey, and the rector of UIC Barcelona, Dr Xavier Gil.
