Events held on both campuses to celebrate the feast day of St Thomas Aquinas
On Monday 28 January, UIC Barcelona celebrated the feast day of St Thomas Aquinas, the patron saint of universities, on both campuses.
The rector, Xavier Gil, was on hand to get things started on the Barcelona Campus. On this campus, the Aula Jardí played host to “Impro Show”, by the company Planet Impro. As part of this performance, the actors took to the stage without a script, and it was up to the audience to decide what happened.
On the Sant Cugat Campus, a magic show was organised by illusionist Jordi Caps. Caps’ performance was also unscripted, with the illusionist adapting his show to the wishes of the spectators, who came to watch in the lobby outside Student Services, where the performance took place.
Table football tables on the Barcelona Campus and ping-pong tables in Sant Cugat were also set up, all courtesy of the Sports Service.
