Dr Giner, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, along with Dr Navalón and Dr Arregui attended the general session at the International Association for Dental Research, in Seoul. They participated with three posters: "Inhalation Conscious Sedation Training in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Dental Students" (E. Vela Casasempere; F. Navalón Codina; J. Mareque Bueno; M. Mercadé Bellido; L. Giner Tarrida.), "Color Change of Nanohybrid and Bulk Hijo Flowable Composites (M. Arregui; L. Giner; M. Ferrari; M. Vallés; M. Mercadé) and "Effectiveness of an Augmented Reality Simulator in Dental Education". (L. Giner; B. Paulo; B. Baldrich; M. Arregui; M. Mercadé)
Taking advantage of the trip, Dr Giner and the rest of the attendees visited Yonsei University, which UIC Barcelona has held an international agreement with for the last 12 years. The visit was also useful to strengthen already established relationships and propose that UIC Barcelona students go there to undertake clinical work placements over the summer.
